SOSN-Wallet

Hello friends! It's my turn to share with you a project I created using a  previously released fantastic template

I chose to use THE WALLET JUST FOR HIM!   SVG cut file with my Silhouette Cameo.

I don't think I've ever shared a picture of it. I OF COURSE! had to find a matching
Hello Kitty metallic decal for it which I located through Google on Ebay when I first bought it...heeheehee

...........and this is what I created!

Is this template cool or WHAT??! I used some Prima Craftsman DP
and a Prima trinket. Tim Holtz washi tape and Unity Stamps burlap background stamp as well as
a previously released SOTW with sentiment. I love how it turned out
and I'm sure there's someone you know that could appreciate a fun
gift like this right? : P Thanks for joining me today and make sure to hop over
and pick up a template for yourself!! They are available in PDF, SVG and DFX. You can
share your creation with us through our AR PCP Group. We'd love to see what you make!
Enjoy the rest of this happy hump day!

Happy Saturday everyone! I'm sharing with you today another creation using crafting products from Your Memories Here.  This time, I chose to use a Ruby Violet cuff in hot pink/orange. I thought this would be so fun to wear to the Sweet Retreat. What's Sweet Retreat I  hear you say?? Well!! It's going to be a terrific weekend of fun and creative genius! as we gather together with friends, laughter and doing our favorite all time hobbies. There are still spaces available if you would like to join us! You can find more information about it HERE.  I can't WAIT!! Such beautiful Prima gorgeousness as usual!! :) Anyhoo, getting back to my project LOL, I used a flower from a Prima flower grab bag and a Prima Ivory Vermont leaf. In addition, I applied some Prima bling and a canvas key colored with Tim Holtz distress stain. I love how it turned out and it was so easy to make! Wouldn't these make cute Mother's Day corsages? or perhaps for a birthday princess? There's endless ideas and Your Memories Here has just what you need to put together something yourself! Make sure to stop by the store and take a peek. Thank you for joining me today and have yourself a great week!

I would like to explain.......

Hi friends. I know I don't have to because I am abundantly blessed with some very special people in my life including my family but, I really feel the need to explain why I have been quiet the last couple of weeks.
Every year that I grow older with each birthday (coming in July), I tend to reflect on where I am, what's happening in my life and where I feel I need to change. I have been desperately trying to heal from my past. Every day sometimes, is a struggle within myself. I feel that the thoughts of depression have magnified since the loss of my dad. (which will be 2 years in July)
Today, I was on my way over in the car to pick up a salad for lunch, when I began listening to a broadcast  on the Midday Connection. Now, this is not a plug for them LOL but, I really connected with the guest they had today and felt it was necessary to respond to their facebook question:
"David Johnson talks about the subtle power of spiritual abuse today on Midday. When did you realize spiritual abuse was a part of your life? "
Here is my response to it:
It was so refreshing to hear David validate who his sisters ARE and what they are really like. Not how they were "seen" growing up. I completely identified with his tenderhearted sister.
I am proud that God has made me a tender heart, being a passionate Christian from a very young age. However, it has not come without a price. I have clung to God as He has enabled me to achieve more personal growth this year than I have been able to find in the past as I am now 6 years divorced and have just recently realized that I am free. Free to be who I am. Free to make choices...whether they are right or not. They. are. mine. To finally be able to accept that I am no longer controlled by anger, threats, intimidation, destructive words, emotional abuse, etc. I praise God for that. Through much prayer and counsel, I have been healed.
Another deep wound that happened 2 years ago, was the death of my beloved father. He was my spiritual counselor, my friend, my confidant and THE only fleshly man I have EVER trusted. Dad freely gave real praise and words of encouragement. He was truly a man of God and extremely kind. He truly embodied what it means to "love your enemies" and was such an example to me. I feel so lost now since his death in July, 2011. I have felt spiritually empty not receiving those words of encouragement as David described that we need every. single. day. as a tender heart. It is SO SO true how much we need to hear it. I know that I was not blindly led to hear your broadcast today. God is amazing....and He truly works in mysterious ways. Thank you for enabling this listener to feel acknowledged. May God continue to bless your ministry and I pray than many more will be able to experience true healing that only comes through Him and the price HE paid.

Now, this being said, I guess what I am trying to say is that my emotional pool has had a "leak" of sorts lately and my mojo has really taken a beating. But,  I was able to have an unplanned day off today as
work was slow and it was offered to me. Which in turn, has given me some time to reflect on what has been happening in my life lately and what I need to do to reconnect with the creative side of Sue as I need to have an outlet. I thank you for all your kind comments and encouragement that you have given in the past as well as being faithful followers. I truly appreciate it and plan on making some projects here real soon. In addition, thank you for allowing me to "share" with you. I am NOT looking to feel sorry for myself or to solicit any kind of sympathy. But, simply just needing to validate my absence I guess. Thank you again for understanding and I look forward to sharing with you in the future! God Bless You!!
