CMC card challenge

Hi friends! Firstly, before I start, my heart is breaking after learning that my sweet friend Vicki is going to be stepping away from the card community for a little while. She will be missed and I wanted to extend a request for prayer for her and her family as they are going through a deep valley right now. We have all had our set of challenges and I'm sure we can all relate. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers for her right now.

I have been sitting on this card all week. I haven't been able to find the time this week until now to post it. I have been busy behind the scenes with some projects and last night was a late one finishing up some birthday cards for a few MDs and a co worker.

I just love Spring! it's one of my favorite seasons. I created this card in honor of it following the guidelines for this challenge round over at CMC Challenge group  which calls for either an "anything goes" or a "bug" theme. I chose to use some adorable Unity Stamps and go with the bugs. I used Copic markers to complete this set of stamps. In addition, I used a wood embellishment bird from Prima, colored with Copics and added to the sentiment. I used a Silhouette cutting file for the flower using DP from Michele R. Designs and a cutting file for the floral border, adding some glitter for accent as well as a stamp base cutting file. I distressed here and there with some Prima chalk ink.The Kraft CS is from PTI and I used a pearl metal brad and added some accents with liquid pearls and Stickles.  the leaf is also a Unity Stamp. I had a lot of fun creating this and I hope you enjoy looking at it as well! Have a great friday tomorrow and again, thank you for your prayers and support for a good friend.
